Travel on a budget was a natural extension of my bespoke on a budget approach to life and interiors. I’ve always loved finding ways to get the absolute most out of our money, whether that’s styling a home, planning a family city break or discovering stylish hotels that feel luxurious whilst actually being an absolute bargain. So, I started curating a collection of travel guides, stylish hotel reviews, affordable luxury stays and money-saving travel tips that genuinely fit around real life and realistic budgets. From family-friendly hotels in Malta and boutique London stays to Rome on a budget itineraries and hidden gems I’ve discovered along the way, this page brings everything together in one place and I’m so excited to share this with you.
Rome on a budget
We fell in love with Rome and it became one of our favourite family city breaks. Between the incredible food, beautiful architecture, stylish boutique hotels and surprisingly affordable restaurants, it’s a city that works brilliantly for bespoke travel on a budget.
We focused on balancing iconic sights like the Colosseum, the Vatican and Trevi Fountain with slower wandering, hidden streets, affordable food spots and practical family-friendly travel choices – it’s the secret to bespoke travel on a budget.
Inside my Rome content, you’ll find hotel reviews, restaurant recommendations, family travel advice and realistic tips for planning a stylish Rome trip on a budget, perfect if you’re considering a stay but are undecided or need some inspiration.

Days out in London on a budget
London can feel incredibly expensive at times, but some of my favourite experiences in the city have cost very little at all. Over the years, I’ve found that with a bit of planning, it’s completely possible to enjoy stylish hotels, incredible food, cultural experiences and family days out in London on a shoestring. Pop on the train with the Kids for a quid deal, and you’re laughing!
Because I used to work in London, I love sharing a mix of tourist highlights alongside the smaller finds and practical tips that make the city feel more accessible. From free attractions and affordable food spots to stylish hotel stays and walking routes, this section brings together all of my London travel and lifestyle content in one place.
A lot of my London content also overlaps naturally with my interiors and bespoke lifestyle approach, whether that’s beautiful hotel interiors, inspiring exhibitions, iconic architecture or stylish spaces that spark ideas you can take home with you.

Malta on a budget
Malta has quickly become one of our favourite destinations for affordable luxury travel. It has that perfect mix of sunshine, beautiful architecture, family-friendly activities and stunning sea views, but without some of the huge costs you often get elsewhere in Europe.
What I love most about Malta is how varied it feels. One minute you’re wandering through historic streets in Valletta or Mdina, and the next you’re sitting by the sea eating fresh pasta while watching the boats come in. It’s also a destination that works brilliantly for family travel on a budget because so much of the experience comes from simply exploring the island itself and it’s compact and easy to get around – a win when you’re travelling with kids.
