I was invited by the lovely team behind UFurnish.com to talk on a panel at the Ideal Home Show today. The panel was all about how to create the perfect sleep sanctuary and we shared our top tips for designing and styling the perfect calming and restorative space for your sleep sanctuary.

The panel was hosted by Anna Jacobs, a talented artist and content creator, and I shared the stage with Georgia Metcalfe, founder of French Bedrooms, and Interior Designer Clare Appleton.
You can read more of my advice on creating the perfect bedroom in this blog post I wrote a couple of years ago…
Here’s the post I wrote about how to create a DIY mountain mural with tester posts of paint from back in lockdown…
After the panel was finished, I had a nose around the stands at the Ideal Home Show and here are my top 5…
Ryobi:

The Ryobi Tools stand was well equipped and I noticed a large focus on cleaning, as well as your usual DIY and garden tools. Lots of favourites there, including my trusty drill, leaf blower, and strimmer.

Shutterly Fabulous:

The Shutterly Fabulous stand had a great range of finishes and colors, and some inspiring full-length shutters which would make a real statement feature. I noticed there’s a Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen range as well.

My Britches at the Ideal Home Show

I loved the My Britches stand, which had a gorgeous array of practical DIY overalls with stylish customization and great shape to fit us DIY girlies. This is such a great idea as I spend half my life in tatty DIY clothes which usually consist of holey and paint-stained leggings.

I also noticed some jumpers, sweatshirts, all in gorgeous vintage wooden racks and purpley pink hues.
One pool and Spa
I spotted lots of wellness-influenced products, including mini sauna pods and spa pools for the ultimate luxury home additions.

Freddie Flowers at the Ideal Home Show

Freddie Flowers, a fresh flower subscription service had a beautiful stand with a gorgeous selection of stems styled amongst antique books in open wooden crates fixed to the wall.

Noushka X Wear The Walls – official design partners of Ideal Home Show 2026

I met the lovely Anoushka on the PR trip to Ibiza for Laura James last year and have been following her amazing and well-deserved success ever since. I was thrilled to see the gorgeous, floral patterned designs of her collab with Wear The Walls around Olympia as the official design partner. I’m thinking where I can use these beautiful designs at home!
