I was invited to view the B&Q Spring / Summer 2026 showcase in Shoreditch London today and thought you might like a quick nose at what was on display. Spoiler alert… lots of beautiful new stock and some very inspiring summer themes.

There were separate themed areas set up and styled to perfection, showcasing the new ranges of outdoor living, furniture, furnishings, lighting and plants. It was beautifully presented and made us genuinely excited for outdoor dining, BBQ season and lighter evenings.

Coastal Cheer

Capturing the energy of the Italian coastline in Summer, think vibrant, bold blues, peaches, yellows and pattern. The vibe was relaxed outdoor dining with gorgeous citrus vines weaving around a stunning pergola over a beautifully styled tablescape. One for those who love a bolder palette and arent afraid of mixing patterns. Holiday vibes all round.

Scandi Serene

sCANDI SERENE

Described as a Scandi Oasis & ‘a palette of subtle cooling colours’, this was my favourite theme. I loved the natural textures and beautiful indoor/outdoor theme. The outdoor sofa set was super comfy and yet water-resistant so you dont have to panic about leaving the set out in the rain.

Boho Retreat

‘Turn your garden into a personal paradise inspired by free-spirited travel vibes. Boho retreat brings warmth and texture to outdoor spaces with earthy tones, natural materials and layered bohemian touches – perfect for a sun-soaked getaway feel.’

Spring Summer 2026

As well as the themes above, there were compact and smart tool sheds for stylish storage…

Lots of gorgeous plants. I spoke with the plant buyer for B&Q who explained about how they have a trial garden for all their new plants where they get planted and basically ignored for a year (to minic the treatment by many customers) to ensure that only the most resilient get chosen for main sale.

Finally, a quick note about outdoor kitchens as there was a brilliant modular outdoor kitchen complete with fully working sink that can be powered by a hosepipe in the garden rather than a new water pipe – amazing!! The BBQ options were really cool and theres a fab smoker (pellet grill) that would be an amazing addition if you like smoked meats.

Lots of great new stock to check out and definitely worth a visit down to B&Q when you’re thinking about giving your garden a spruce up for Summer.
